Fondation ARC/WCR - AAP : WCR 2023 Grand Round

La Fondation ARC s’associe à la fondation britannique Worldwide Cancer Research pour l’édition 2023 de son appel à projets annuel, dont l’objectif est de soutenir les recherches exploratoires et translationnelles en prévention, diagnostic ou traitement du cancer. Toutes les disciplines scientifiques sont concernées, et les projets multidisciplinaires ou interdisciplinaires seront encouragés lorsque cela contribue à stimuler l’innovation.

ANR - AAP : MRSEI 2023

L'Agence nationale de la recherche a créé l’instrument MRSEI (Montage de réseaux scientifiques européens ou internationaux) pour donner les moyens aux scientifiques travaillant dans des laboratoires français de déposer, en tant que coordinatrice/coordinateur, un projet de recherche à des appels collaboratifs européens (Horizon Europe) ou internationaux et de leur donner ainsi la possibilité de développer des projets interdisciplinaires ambitieux et de renforcer leur visibilité au niveau international. Fondation de France - AAC : Accueil post-doc et mobilité

En 2023, la Fondation de France poursuit son soutien à la recherche fondamentale et translationnelle portant sur l’étude des résistances aux traitements du cancer dans le cadre d’hémopathies malignes ou de tumeurs solides. Une attention particulière sera portée aux projets débouchant sur une nouvelle approche thérapeutique.

Four "Research and Innovation actions supporting the implementation of the Mission on Cancer" have been launched:

Pragmatic clinical trials on minimally invasive diagnostics;

Tailored to foster international collaboration, the IARC Summer School offers a unique multicultural and multidisciplinary learning environment. Two modules were designed for 2023:

Introduction to cancer epidemiology (overview);
Implementing cancer prevention and early detection (overview).

IPBS - AAC: Postdoc Position

A 3-year postdoc position is available at IBPS (Institut de biologie Paris Seine) Neurosciences (Glial Plasticity Neuro-oncology group) for developing in vitro and in vivo approaches aimed at deciphering the metabolic vulnerabilities of brain cancer cell adaptation to chemotherapies. He/she will work within the framework of the tight collaboration between teams located in Paris and Bordeaux (IBGC- GB-metabo group), which offer complementary models, tools, and expertise in neuro-oncology, including cancer cell metabolism and computational biology.

Inserm U 1109 - AAC: Postdoc Position

The Tumor Biomechanics Lab at Inserm U 1109 (CRBS, Centre de recherche en biomédecine de Strasbourg) is seeking a talented postdoctoral fellow or research engineer with experience in mice experimentation and a background in cancer biology.
