Nouvelles annonces

La Fondation Arthritis s’engage pour soutenir les recherches susceptibles d’accroître les connaissances sur les liens entre les RMS (rhumatismes et maladies musculosquelettiques) et les cancers en lançant un appel à projets dédié afin d’accompagner les équipes de recherche dans l’initiation de projets communs entre la rhumatologie et la cancérologie. Il s’agit notamment, mais pas exclusivement, de :

• Exploiter les révolutions conceptuelles et technologiques ainsi que les innovations thérapeutiques dans le champ de la cancérologie au bénéfice des RMS
• Etudier les liens entre la physiopathologie des cancers et celle des RMS

Les projets impliquant plusieurs équipes pluridisciplinaires avec une expertise en rhumatologie et la cancérologie seront privilégiés. Les projets bénéficiant ou ayant bénéficié d’autres financements sont fortement encouragés.

The Académie des sciences-Institut de France and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of Taiwan award a France-Taiwan Scientific Prize every year to a team of researchers (one from a Taiwanese institution and one from a French institution) for their contribution and achievements to scientific research of interest to both regions, as well as their future plans to continue and amplify their scientific collaboration.

L'Institut national du cancer, en partenariat avec la DGOS et l’lnserm pour le compte de l’ITMO Cancer d’Aviesan, renouvelle la campagne de labellisation de sites de recherche intégrée sur le cancer (SIRIC). Cette troisième labellisation maintient les objectifs fixés précédemment et qui ont démontré leur pertinence, à savoir :

• mener à bien une triple mission d’intégration, de structuration et de valorisation pour réaliser une recherche d’excellence transposable au bénéfice de la population générale et des personnes touchées par un cancer ;
• renforcer le niveau de créativité et de compétitivité internationale des travaux de recherche menés par leurs équipes sur la prévention, le diagnostic et le traitement des cancers.

Le GEFLUC (Entreprises contre le Cancer, ECC) Paris-Île-de-France finance des projets de recherche en cancérologie réalisés au sein d'équipes de recherche académique localisées dans la région Ile-de-France, autour des deux thématiques suivantes :

• plasticité des cellules tumorales, récidives et métastases ;
• relations entre les cellules tumorales et leur environnement.

Une attention particulière sera portée aux projets émanant de jeunes scientifiques ou d'équipes récemment constituées ainsi qu'aux projets novateurs.

The ERC Proof of Concept Grants (ERC-PoC) are complementary fundings to Starting, Consolidator, Advanced and Synergy grantees. They aim to maximise the value of the excellent research that the ERC funds, by funding further work (i.e. activities which were not scheduled to be funded by the original ERC frontier research grant) to verify the innovation potential of ideas arising from ERC funded projects. Proof of Concept Grants are therefore on offer only to Principal Investigators whose proposals draw substantially on their ERC funded research.
